BHOE LYRICS RICE

Rice

sun shining

the fields open

plants growing

people plowing the fields

rice is being harvested

so the rice grains can be milled

some make an horchata drink

in the Mexican table

some make a champurrado 

chocolate rice porridge 

eaten in the morning by the Filipinos

live as part of the equality equation

do not blame rice for your bulging tummy

It is not the rice's fault

eat what your body needs

which means it can only be half a cup

and not a plateful

flat rice is used in many dishes

pounding it gives 

another taste sensation

the puffed rice in India

is eaten as sweet in Asia

the vinegar is used to make a dressing

that is what we use it for

live as part of the equality equation

do not blame rice 

It is not the rice's fault

eat what your body needs

which means it can only be half a cup

and not a plateful

the sticky rice 

is a  staple in Thailand

cooked with coconut 

and mangoes 

be grateful for the rice's expression

it is here for a purpose

why trade it in the futures market

for profit

when it is here as part of the whole

doing its purpose

the carbohydrates in it

are here for a purpose

do not overeat 

for it will show

we are using it 

to entertain ourselves

not for what rice is here for

let us not blame rice for our weight

It is not the rice's fault

it is here as part of the whole

In my past blog, i did self-forgiveness for connecting the word peppercorn to other words - where i see it more than or less than what it is. I realized i am directed by the definition i gave the word -  as per the relationship i formed with the word.  This created the illusion that it is separate from me - not realizing i am equal to all that exist - as all are made from the same substance all are made of - including the peppercorn.
