Paleo

I am looking at my beliefs and judgments about the Paleo diet in this blog. Self-forgiveness is like 'saying sorry for myself' for having blinders and not seeing things as they are.

Self-forgiveness Statements

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to judge the paleo diet as superior over all diets instead of seeing and realizing we each have a unique DNA make-up - so each of us will have to determine what our individual body needs.

When and as I see myself judging the paleo diet as superior over all diets, I stop - I breathe. I realize that the way we eat is based on what our mind wants rather than what our body needs so one is not better than another. The best is for us to eat to nourish the body which is unique in each individual.

I commit myself to be aware of what i eat, log it and see through commonsense what nutrition my body needs.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that the caveman/paleo diet is better than a modern diet rather than see, realize and understand that we have a unique DNA make-up - so each of us will have to determine what our individual body needs.

When and as I see myself judge the modern diet as better than a caveman diet, I stop - I breathe. I realize that i connected the caveman diet to unprocessed food and the modern diet to  processed food, and then created a judgment, that the paleo/caveman/ diet is better.

I commit myself to look at the nutrition of the foods I am eating and see it is not about one diet being superior over another but see that with unprocessed food the body will not have to spend more time eliminating 'processing chemicals' in the body and that the body will have to work more to release the chemicals in processed food. Eventually we have to develop an equal and one relationship with the body so we can communicate with it as an equal.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to associate the caveman/paleo diet to the earth and the modern diet to processed food.

When and as I see myself associating caveman/paleo diet to the earth and modern diet to processed food, I stop - I breathe. I realize that eating is not about either processed food or unprocessed food. It is about the nutrition we get from the foods and nourishing the body through that. Seeing the body and the food as equal to who we are is the key.

I commit myself to assist myself to see that unprocessed food/ food direct from the earth gets processed for taste which becomes processed food, so i commit myself to be aware of my motivation to eat - not to eat because the food tastes good - but to rather look at nutrition instead.

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to believe that because the paleo diet advocates less carbohydrates, judge it as better than other diets.

When and as I see myself believing that more carbohydrates is dangerous for my health, I stop - I breathe. I realize carbs or carbohydrates are here not for us to judge but to support our body to have physical energy. It is when we give the body more or less than the carbohydrates it needs - as we are focused on getting the taste - that we do not look at nutrition in our food but more on entertainment.

I commit to assist myself to look at the nutrition present in the food I eat.
I commit to assist myself to see taste as an expression of the food i eat.
I commit to assist myself to develop an equal and one relationship with the body.

Self-forgiveness for Fear of Vegan and Vegetarian Food

This Blog is a continuation of this blog:

Mind Pattern
>I do not want to make vegan foods
>I am now eating meat
>but these vegan and vegetarian meat are fake meats
>they can have monosodium glutamate
>they can be hidden in those fake veggie meats

What is Self-forgiveness?
It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing self
to separate from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as subjective interpretations of reality regarding something or someone that leads to stability as breath.

Writing Self-forgiveness Statements

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to fear eating vegetarian and vegan foods
believing that they do not have all the needed nutrients my body needs instead of seeing and realizing that vegetables come from the earth and are here to help give the body get nutrition.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to judge veggie meats as fake meat believing that vegetable meat has no B12 instead of seeing and realizing that with or without B12, vegetable meat is part of the whole - that is life - equal and one.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that veggie meat has monosodium glutamate - believing what one doctor in the internet said instead of seeing and realizing that I have not investigated it in all ways myself instead of seeing veggie meat as what it is - a part of the whole - that is life.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to suspect that monosodium glutamate  can be hidden in the meat - doubting, rather than bringing myself back here as breath, using common sense in seeing that monosodium glutamate is part of the whole - that is life as it is here in this world. It is my fear of disease and death - within fear of survival, that makes me see monosodium glutamate as dangerous to my health - as I have defined health within absence of disease rather than see health as alignment of physical, mental and social well-being.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to judge the monosodium glutamate as bad believing what I hear in the media rather than see it as what it is - a chemical created by humans from seaweeds needing to entertain ourselves by making our food taste better.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to use food to entertain myself rather than see food as what it is - a substance to nourish the body.

Commitment to Correction

I commit myself to rather than be enslaved to tasty food, learn how to prepare low salt and low sugar meals.

I commit myself to rather than define the word monosodium glutamate within fear of disease, having been named as an additive, clear its definition from bias and see it as what it is  - also known as glutamic acid and is naturally occurring normally found in tomatoes, potatoes and mushrooms and other vegetables and fruits.

Living My Utmost Potential 15: Making Chili with No Added Salt

I made chili without added salt and pushed myself to go beyond what my mind pattern is leading me to - in terms of creating dishes. I always add salt in dishes but this time I didn't.

Realizing and Living My Utmost Potential 9: Health, Teaching and A Family of 4 Attending My Cooking Class

Living Principles:
Links To Parts 1-8 of Realizing and Living My Utmost Potential

A family of 4 attended my cooking class last July 25. The Mom, the Dad and the two kids were present - one girl and 1 boy. The boy is 12 years old and the girl is 10 years old.

The 12 yr old was the first to volunteer to do the cooking and then the 10 year old. I set it up in such a way that we'Il be selecting our own ingredients ourselves.
So, rather than me being the authority for all to look up to for information and knowledge regarding how to cook, how and what to cook, I gave everyone the authority to decide what ingredients to cook with.

I see teaching as an equal and one opportunity to guide oneself, and so others, to train/walk the process to learn from ones own exploration of the physical such as within cooking - which is about exploring the physical act of cooking coming from a starting point of what is best for oneself in terms of individual nutrition to support the body optimally, and what is best for all - where animals and plants are not judged as good or bad, but rather, acknowledged for being here to support the body to survive through proper farming methods that will give them the care they need where they will also be able to express themselves.

Here's how I saw a cooking class before and I want to look at my mind pattern:
>I have to show everyone how good i am in cooking
>but someone might be better than me
>ooops I better brush up on my cooking skills

In this mind pattern i have an idea of what a cooking class should be. Then, i project my  compared myself with others in the class or  the iron chefs for example on tv, where I am impulsed by what i've seen in the media. I then judge myself as inferior and then compete with them in my mind - where the definition of the word 'cooking' itself was not seen, but was associated to a subjective interpretation of reality. Instead of forgiving myself for this, I believed that was a normal thing to do, not realizing this is consequential for the body as I manipulate my body to manifest my mind's desire rather than express myself as who I really am within what I do.

So here's my self- forgiveness for being directed by the mind:
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have the idea that i have to show everyone how good i cook believing what I saw in the media that good cooks become famous and is being paid more money. I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to judge myself as inferior then project the polarity opposite of that onto someone believing that - my interpretation was what it was in reality. I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to brush up on my cooking skills as a form of manipulation - manipulating the body to learn and enact what i desire.

Cooking
The act of preparing something (as food) by the application of heat
My Expanded Definition: Food as a substance that nourishes the body is being applied with heat or being prepared to make it easy to digest so nourishment can be distributed to the body.

During the beginning of the class, I asked everyone what is their definition of 'Health'. What I got was:
'Health is giving your body that which is good'
'Health is not giving your body that which will make it sick'
'Health is giving the body something that supports a part of the body to function effectively'

In the Word Web, 'Health' is defined as 'absence of disease'.
Do you wonder why we spend our lives resisting disease or fearing having a disease? Eventually, we get what we resist - because what we resist persist.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defined health in its broader sense in 1946 as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
