Philippines: How Porn and Prostitution Was Created Part 1 Sex, Pleasure and Money

What is fuelling the desire for porn?

Where i grew up, talking about sex openly was a taboo.

'Suppression'?

I was told to close my legs when i sit on a chair. I was told not to laugh boisterously because it was not feminine to do so.

Being a 'Filipina' means i cannot tell a male i like him, i cannot smoke, i cannot have sex before marriage etc.. That was the definition i was given which i lived as if i cannot redefine a word and live it as equal to who i really am - a female equal to a male - as my expression.

I was told to be obedient. I was told male asks the females out and so i learned to wait to be asked by males. I was told not to be forward - to be 'reserved' in my ways which i later found out is 'suppression'.

When i went to College in the city and lived with relatives,  i enrolled in a Catholic College for girls. Right beside this all girl's college is an all boy's college. I was about 17 yrs old at that time.

What i noticed was that there was this growing desire within me to know and experience sex with the opposite sex. My girl friends and i talked about the parties in the nearby boy's school. The perceived separation from the boys created fear of not having a relationship with the opposite sex so the desire intensified fueled by the fear. The fear of losing fueling the desire to win using sex, relationships and money.

There are a lot of movies and tv shows that depict 'courtship games' that culminate to 'love relationships', marriage and kids - most of which came from the US, impulsing us to buy tickets to the movies which equates to more money to produce films so there's more money and profit for the corporation and in terms of pornographic films, more money for the sex industry.

But what interested me at that time was how these characters look like they are enjoying kissing each other as depicted by their behaviors in the movie'. I 'interpreted' their body language as showing lots of pleasure, that i have not seen in ordinary life. I interpreted their words are conveying happiness and 'pleasure'. I imagined within my mind the 'multiple happiness' i will get after the kiss. My interest back then was 'how to experience the same pleasure' not realizing that this is an interpretation of what i see and not what is really what physical interaction was about. I did not see that this is me wanting the 'moreness' of me through physical interaction to be able to win in a world where i can loose as survival is not guaranteed.

Porn magazines was labelled as 'bad' and we were told not to touch those.

The question remains, why can't i not learn about them?

The mechanics of physical interaction between the male and the female was hidden and was labelled 'bad' which does not match what i observed. The movies are depicting kissing and physical interaction in bed between 2 people as a source of 'pleasure'. I later found out that this was deliberate to stimulate sexual stimulation for profit.

But what's fueling this desire for 'pleasure'?

I believed at that time that this desire = me as who i really am. It's not until i was introduced to Self-forgiveness that i realized everything about me is who i have become as the personality - someone who i created within my mind - based from my fear.

The church said it was 'a desire of the flesh and not of the spirit' so sex should not be done without marriage. The problem is that I did not question why the priest is saying this and quoting the bible. I accepted it as true believing that the priest is the authority not realizing that i am the author of my life and that i can direct myself to investigate about what REAL physical interaction is about.

I had my first boyfriend who initiated me to kissing and sex which i judged as less than what i magined within my mind -where i inflated or deflated reality by interpreting it and giving it a value more than or less than what it is based from my own survival - within self-interest.

I got married at a young age with my first boyfriend, pregnant with my first child.

While some would try porn and prostitution to experience sex and pleasure and to express ones sexuality and to transcend the fear of being inferior - or being labeled as 'bad', as what the Asian girl in a documentary i watched did - participating in a 'gang bang' with 250 men to transcend her fear of being inferior to men believing that girls too can have sex with more than one man just like men can have sex with more than one woman, I tried the culturally accepted way - Marriage.

But the starting point is the same isn't it?

Fear of being inferior and desire for pleasure through physical interaction.

Did i create the porn and prostitution industry? If yes, How?

In  my next blog i will explore this topic and write about this.

BIG Part 6: Ang Solusyon Sa Kahirapan Sa Pilipinas: Porn At Prostitusyon

Ang Blog Na Ito Ay Kadugtong Ng blog Na Ito:
http://junejourneytolife.blogspot.com/2013/08/ang-solusyon-sa-kahirapan-sa-pilipinas.html

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmXe35kCI0Y

http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2013-06-27/people/40232055_1_video-games-street-children

BIG Part 6: How To End Poverty In The Philippines: Poverty, Pornography and Prostitution

Sex is depicted as a source of pleasure by the movies etc.

When people are poor and suffering, they search for the quickest way to get pleasure and that is usually through reading or watching porn in magazines, watching tv, looking at porn in the internet or in the movies.

One gets sexually stimuated by porn. When one is already sexually aroused from reading or watching porn, some people release this through masturbation or through sex.

In richer countries, money is also used to buy pleasure/ sex. In this link, people with money buys sex from people who do not have money to survive:

Let's look at this news about parents of Filipino kids getting money from Australian men and  prostitution  in the Philippines:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmXe35kCI0Y

All of us make this happen as all participate in creating energetic experiences within sense stimulation in many ways in our 'within' - as the mind and create consequence in our 'without' - as this world system of money.

The bottom line here is - the physical body is being used to satisfy our mind's desire and money is being used to make this possible. The body is being mined for energy to feed the mind's desire for sexual stimulation - using money as a medium of exchange.

The mother needs money to buy basic necessities to survive while foreigners with money need to satisfy the sexual urge,  so gives money to the parents of these kids in exchange for sex.

We fail to see that the desire for sex and money is being impulsed by Fear within a relationship to survival and money.

Money becomes a medium of exchange between individual mind desires impulsed by Fear of Survival - which exists in rich and poor countries alike.

We had been trying to solve this problem for years and had not been successful in providing a solution.

What have we missed?

The solution is not addressing the real problem. The real problem was NOT identified.

We are trying to solve the problem of  fear of survival - through giving aid and charity to the poor from a point where we are accepting and allowing inequality in our society.

We are accepting and allowing some people to accumulate more money/wealth while some gets deprived of their share. This results in many problems in society.

The REAL Problem is INEQUALITY .

Why are we Living based on Inequality?

Why are we accepting and allowing this?

Unless Inequality is corrected and unless we live as equals, fear will be here and we will have problems with survival and money.

let's ask ourselves these questions:

If we give the poor a guaranteed Basic/Living Income - will parents still exchange their kids for money?

Kids who do not work and are young will have value because they will also be receiving Guaranteed Basic /Living Income.

Mothers will NOT sell their kids in exchange for money.

If young women are given a Guaranteed Basic/Livig Income, will they earn money through prostitution?

Job choice will change.

If we educate ourselves about sex and realize that sexual expression is part of physicality and that it is a natural part of physical expression -  where Sexual education and relationship education include understanding the physical body and how to direct physical sensation we will learn how to make use of relationships and sex for what is best for all,

It is not about transcending our fears through satistfying our desires. Rather, to instead face our fear of survival and our relationship to money.

We are impulsed by the media to desire sex - through x rated movies which is a profit and money driven industry.

Prostitution, mail order brides, child pornography, child trafficking etc is also driven by money and profit.

Within some of us having money we believe we are surviving and that our survival is what is important,  but we forget that it is not about a few surviving.

Life is not about a few surviving. it is about all of us surviving in dignity from birth till death.

Prostitution and Porn is based from Fear within a relationship to  survival and money.

We have to give the poor a Guaranteed Basic/Living Income, so we can all  live in dignity. We are all birthed here.

We have the right to the resources the earth gave us all to equally survive .

We have to look at the benefit of nationalizing corporations making  profit from the earth's natural resources, and see how part of these profits can be given as Basic/Living Income to the poor or unemployed, so we can eliminate poverty not only in the Philippines but all over the world, live as equals in dignity and within this, also provide a solution to prostitution and pornography.

If few survive and the majority perish because of poverty and if the physical body is abused within pornography and porn = We All Lose.

We will have a society like this unequal society we have now - full of problems that we cannot solve and create consequence in this physical existence.

This will lead us to eternal damnation.

This is Not What Is Best For All. Clearly, we have to change our starting point from a point of self-interest to us standing for What Is Best for All.

BIG Part 5: Ang Solusyon Sa Kahirapan Sa Pilipinas: Ang Aking Karanasan Ng Kahirapan: Jobs

Ang Blog Na Ito Ay Kadugtong Ng blog Na Ito:
http://junejourneytolife.blogspot.com/2013/07/big-part-4-paano-matitigil-ang.html

http://specials.msn.com/a-list/lifestyle/famous-people-who-were-homeless-ss?imageindex=13

BIG Part 5: How Can We Eliminate Poverty In The Philippines: My Experience of Poverty: Jobs

Was Steve Jobs Once Homeless before he became a Billionaire? The media is saying yes, he was once homeless.
Link: Famous People Who Were Homeless
http://specials.msn.com/a-list/lifestyle/famous-people-who-were-homeless-ss?imageindex=13

But since the media's function is to promote something for profit, we really cannot trust that piece of information.

The 'rags to riches' story promoted by the media was what contributed to - me 'hoping for the best' when i was young. The Cinderella story in children's books and cartoons shown on tv and the movies impulsed me to seek for a better life searching for 'my prince', just like i was impulsed to read the Steve Jobs article about the possibility of a 'better life' - from being homeless to being a Billionaire which may be true or not, but that is not the point of this blog. The point is...

We are impulsed by words - words that are biased, which we first learned from our parents.

I was the 'favorite child' of my dad when i was young. I was the 'favorite' child because i was obedient.I became lazy because of this and i tolerated that to happen believing i was specially treated which i am in the process of correcting. The prize of being obedient is that i do not get to work very hard at home. There were always maids to do things for me. I did not have to wash my clothes, someone else has to do it for me. One house help we had was a man. Let's call him Batoy (not his real name). This man was very quiet and very polite. He does not answer back, yet, he was very poor and uneducated. I considered him 'inferior' to all of us inside my mind, because he was 'just a house help', a point that i am correcting in my blogs.

We also have other female maids who were children of people who lived in our small farm who does not have the means to educate nor feed their children. Other family members sometimes yell at them when they do something in a 'stupid' way like for example heating a frozen fruit salad before it will be served. It is not about being right or wrong. It is to see the underlying cause of why theybecome who they have become. They did not have fruit salad for dessert where they came from - because they lived in the countryside where there's no refrigerator. They did not eat desserts. They just survived eating rice and salt or sometimes boiled sweet potato or corn on the cobs. To make that a joke for everyone to laugh at is not fair. But we made that into a joke at that time and now i can see the evil of what it is like to put myself as superior to others.

I forgot the fact that her body is made of the same substance my body is made of - the dust of the earth..

I did not like that maids are being yelled at because i 'pity them' - for having to do what they do and for being very poor and uneducated. So, i suppressed this fear and within my mind desire to live a better life as if i will transcend that fear through satisfying that desire..

Sometimes some family members scare us to get us to study harder by telling us 'you will be a maid - uneducated and illiterate,  if you do not study hard'. So we pushed ourselves to learn in school. But learning is not real learning - it is about having a better life which is impulsed by fear of survival and fear of being inferior.

The words 'best/favorite/superior/rich/businessmen' and the words 'bad/normal/inferior/poor/maids' were the words i grew up with which formed my belief system.

When i walked back i saw that i fear ending up as a maid - uneducated, poor, unable to obtain health care , unable to feed oneself and ones family.

Education became a way to get a good job, have an educated husband and a 'good future'.

So, my desire to have a wealthy and handsome husband and my desire to learn is fueled by fear of survival.

This is me as the mind deciding and acting from the starting point of fear.

Our desire to be rich or to one day be somebody like the 'rugs to riches' stars or follow the steps of Steve Jobs, Bill Gates or Oprah etc.  is a form of coping in an unequal world. The fact that most of the money in this world remain in the hands of the Billionaires means that the poor is being deprived of their share and is not what is best for all and definitely Not something we want to become.

We are proposing guaranteed survival for all from birth to death.

Real self-expression is not about Fear. It is about enjoying life with all that is here in this physical existence.

We can change this system of inequality. We can put together our strength and create a 'better life' for all -
starting with the Basic/Living Income Guaranteed.

Instead of accepting and allowing people to be so poor to scavenge bottles and plastics from garbage dumps such as the 'Smoky mountain' etc.in the Philippines,

Why don't we give them their share of the profit the corporations get from our natural resources? This is rightfully for all, not just for a few. Nature has given everyone enough to survive equally.

The economy is in a downward spiral.

This means this unequal system needs to change.

It is commonsensical to Not keep that which does not work..

What is the use of desiring to marry a rich man or woman when we have enough to survive?
Relationships will change.

What is the reason to Fear Survival when we are able to survive because we are guaranteed a living wage?
Fear of survival will be no more. The fears will be real physical fears like going away from a car when the car is about to smash the pole one is standing in.

What is the reason to Fear Being Inferior to others when we can stand in dignity that we have enough to survive and we can work if we choose?
Life will be more enjoyable.

What is the reason to compete to win -  to be superior in a world where people are guaranteed a basic/living income - where no one lose and everyone wins?
Life will be about self-expression rather than competition.

Why do we have to go abroad to work and be away from our families and be subjected to abuse because we need the money so our families back home can survive, have food, be educated, have health care etc.?
The quality of our life will change and our job choices will change.

We can change this system realizing that all of us have equal rights as humans living this one life.

If we give the poor a Basic/Living income and also allow for those who would like to work, jobs that support survival that guarantees our survival and the children who will be born in this world, Poverty will be No More.

This will obviously Not be done by the Elite. This will be spoken of, written by and implemented by the people who can see and have experienced the inequality of the system and how this affect our lives and others, realizing this is not best for everyone and that in this unequal system = All Lose.

When everyone gets their rightful share, and the biased words we learned from our parents based from our interpretation of reality within our minds and the meaning we give words we speak and write are remediated or corrected so we can lead a balanced life, the world will change.

Animals And Plants Have Rights: 'Love Is All There Is'

We take the life of an animal as a trophy to show that we have won the FEAR battle (fearing jungle animals). So, to prove that we do not fear jungle animals, as the elephant, the tiger etc.we get our hunting guns and /kill them. We created this fear within our mind yet the elephant 'has to Die, not in our imagination but for Real', unable to express onself in Life, a suppression of its Right to Life.

So, why kill the jungle animal, why not stop the fear instead?

Killing jungle animals to win a trophy is not acceptable.

It is to realize that we created the fear within our mind and the answer is not in killing

Killing animals who are expressing themselves here in this world, like the elephants, the lions etc. is senseless.

The animals don't have anything to do with the fear we experience within our mind.

Let's not hide the fear and then believe that we will transcend our fear by killing that which we fear, in this case, jungle animals in Africa..

The  animal is just expressing itself in this world just as all of us here.

Let's look at an example, let's say Bill is walking on the road and a family kills Bill for fun's sake, In the normal world,  the criminal or the family who killed Bill, goes to jail.

But what if instead of putting the criminal or the family who killed Bill in jail, they get awarded a trophy instead and are allowed to pose with dead Bill smiling and showing the photo to friends and relatives and not only that but using the photo of the dead human, Bill (with them in the background smiling) - as advertising for a vacation getaway where people can also kill another human and do the same thing. Realize that in this example, the owner of this vacation getaway gets more customers that will translate to money and profit in the future from this photo advertisement and that if the family pose they will be given a discount or a reward.

Wouldn't you question the justice system if this will be done and allowed in the real world by humans to another human? Yet this is being allowed to be done to jungle animals

This is an unequal system we are living in, we have to change it to a system that will work from the starting point of what is best for all.of us- the equality point - the point where humans, plants and animals etc. 'meet eye to eye' as one and equal as each other - realizing we are made of the same substance - the dust of the earth..

This is a world where some win and others lose.

Why should life be like a casino where some win and some lose?

We have to change the way we live this life to a life where all can win because all of us are living this one life.

We are all here.

When some are not included in the survival equation = we all lose.

It is commonsensical for us to live a life where all of our basic needs for shelter, nourishment etc. are being met.

The earth gave us resources to equally survive.

What is the difference between humans animals and plants? There can be many as we are programmed to see different shapes and colors as individualized entities. But what we fail to see is that which is obvious - we all breathe, we all eat and we are all here existing in this world - we all are birthed in this world..

We are all here living this ONE LIFE.

So, how come we have a justice system that is Biased, treating human abuses, animal abuses and plant abuses unequally?

Questions i ask myself:

1. How come humans are allowed to kill their fellowmen - the poor are slowly being killed in this system of inequality and left to die without food, clothing, shelter etc. in countries like the Philippines, Africa etc.?

Why are we NOT giving others their equal share in whatever resources the earth gives us all equally?

2. How come humans get a trophy for hunting or killing animals in the jungle of Africa?

3.. How come vegetarians are allowed to claim their trophy for killing vegetables and condemn others who kill animals?

This is even being incorporated in a spiritual practice - as the sentient diet for spiritual people. The guru who introduced this is being given high regard as a model human - a Guru or a Sad-guru - but aren't we all killers?

We all kill to survive.

We do not even see that the reason we kill to survive is because our minds need energy and it has to take that energy from the powerhouse - the Body.

Have we lost our sanity?

We clearly have, just that we do not see it,

We are too 'blissful' within our minds to be able to see the OBVIOUS.

The problem was, and this was my biggest problem when i was a yogi for 29 yrs.- being always in 'Mind Bliss'. that when i open my eyes, and looked at what's going on in the real world, i see crime, bloodshed, abuse and poverty - a reality very different from 'my mind reality' when i meditate - where i can imagine union with that which i created within my mind and named as the supreme consciousness - that idea that that is the Self that is equal to all.

There was a yearning within my mind to make  my external reality reflect my internal mind reality, I did Not See the fact that my mind reality was what i IMAG-INED to be real, and is based from a picture- an IMAGE - and that Real Reality is what is here as this physical existence - not made from an interpretation of Reality but made from the Dust of the Earth.

We cannot see this reality, this physical world, as the noise  - the paranoia continue - the Noise going on in our minds  - 'Love is all there is' that is repeated over and over again which we eventually believe to be Real, the Positive Noise that keeps us Deaf to Real Sound.

We do not want to see the bloodshed, the poverty, the abuse etc. arround us. Let's be self-honest. Let's admit that we fear suffering, pain, death, survival, sickness etc. It is too Painful to See what is going on in the Real world. Surviving in an unequal world is Not easy. One is not safe, One is not being given a means to get the basic necessities to survive. We do not want seeing humans, animals and plants being abused nor killed for money and profit yet we are forced to do it because we accept and allow ourselves to be powerless

What we do not see is that in the long term, we will have to face the consequence of what we accepted and allowed in this world because this is how reality works. Within our mind there is no consequence - that's why most of us wants to meditate - so we will avoid taking responsibility for the whole - as all Life.

But how long can our eyes remain closed in meditation?

I meditated for hours and days before, 'blissed out', but i always open my eyes because my legs start getting numb. I even believed that one day, i will wake up 'enlightened' and see myself merged with everything that is here - 'just like magic'.

What i did not realize is, that i cannot REAL-IZE within my mind in meditation- because to 'REAL-IZE we have to see with our REAL- EYES meaning to develop an equal and one relationship to all that is here in this physical existence - as all parts of me as life, someone standing for what is best for all - as i am part of this one life.

I meditated for 29 years and 1 convinced myself that 'Love is all there is', having given a mantra or a sound to meditate on that means 'Love is all there is'. With my eyes closed i meditated on this thought morning, noon and night  Eventually just like anything, if you practice doing it for a while, you believe it. So i started behaving as a person that emanates 'love and light and bliss'. I also believed that because i experience that 'blissful feeling' within me during meditation, that that experience is an experience of the REAL me. I closed my eyes to what is going on in this world.

Instead of looking at my fear, i hid it and covered it up with the thought 'love is all there is'.

I justified the abuses in this world and my excuse is that i have to survive as a 'happy' individual (as 'i did not want to feel sad and lonely' looking at the bloodshed, the competition, the poverty etc. in this world). So i just sang and meditated on the words 'love is all there is' in sanskrit 'believing that it has the power to make me change' to cover up the fear of death, sickness, survival, suffering etc.

I created an ideal life inside my mind and within that an ideal being, and manipulated myself to live that.

The only problem is, that the life i am living within my mind is NOT REAL. I was manipulating reality within my mind to hide my fears and cover it up with an illusion of love and bliss.

I am grateful that someone woke me up from that dream by giving me the real message of Life

I am echoing that message here in my blog.

I suggest looking at living according to the principle of 'What is best for all', rather than living according to what we think is 'right or wrong', and since thinking is about words , and since words taught to us by our parents and words taught to us in school, are biased  we also have to correct or remediate our words. -restoring our vocabulary to integrity so that the words we are living are based on a balanced life.
