The Right To Water: How Will We Honor Everyone's Right To Water?

3:03  - 3:44
The fourth fundamental human right is a fundamental right as well because the human cannot exist
without clean water. Thus, water, also freely provided by the earth except for the part of purifying it, just the human labor part, is a fundamental human right that is not possible to be negotiated, sold or in any other way used to diminish another human being. To do such things is in fact human rights violation and a crime.
===

Right now, this is what we are doing:

>The earth gives us water to distribute to all, equally, for all of us to survive
>it was distributed unequally because of the unequal monetary system
>i can afford it, so i have clean water to drink but some people cannot, because of lack of money
>some corporations bottled water for profit and i buy them
>corporations get money and profit from water
>the poor's share is not being given to them and so not having money to get water is self-diminishing
>crime against life is being committed every day because of this
>everyone lose

We have to correct this pattern.

How?

By giving those who do not have access to clean water, access to it.

Let's start with giving them part of the profit that corporations get from selling water through giving them a Living Income, Guaranteed from birth till death.

This is my corrected version:
>The earth gives us water to distribute to all, equally, for all of us to survive
>it was distributed unequally because of the unequal monetary system
>i can afford it, so i have clean water to drink but some people cannot, because of lack of money
>some corporations bottled water for profit and i buy them
>corporations get money and profit from water
>the poor's share is not being given to them. Our inability to provide means to the poor to get water to survive is self-diminishing
>we nationalize water corporations and share part of their profit to the poor by giving them a living income, guaranteed from birth to death
>all survive

The Rice Problem: Philippines

According to the news, there's allegation that there's corruption going on and a partylist representative wants an inquiry into the rice situation in the Philippines:

A partylist representative on Wednesday said he wants a congressional inquiry into the country’s rice situation, in light of allegations of corruption and the reported irregular rice importation of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the National Food Authority (NFA) from Vietnam.

Rep. Jonathan Dela Cruz of the Abakada-Guro partylist said that an investigation was in order, especially after the exposé that the April 2013’s DA-NFA’s rice importation of 205,700 metric tons (MT) was overpriced by at least P442 million.

“These government agencies have a lot of explaining to do,” said Dela Cruz.

From: http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/325006/economy/agricultureandmining/partylist-rep-wants-investigation-into-overpriced-rice

If there's corruption going on, this has to be looked at and a solution provided that will stop this.

You should ask yourself some questions:
  • Why are there no clear figures that inform the population of the administration of resources?
  • Why are there no figures kept of how much is actually lost through foreclosure?
  • How much is actually lost through businesses that are going bankrupt?
  • How much is actually lost through people losing their jobs at this stage, unable to participate in the system, unable for instance to pay tax or to buy stuff to increase the revenue streams?
  • How much is wasted by corrupt government officials?
  • How much is directed toward inappropriate placement of tenders?
These are massive amounts beyond belief; how much is happening because there’s no oversight and everybody participating in the system knows one thing: there are resources being stolen and there is maladministration and corruption, that’s why they don’t want transparency, it’s convenient.
We also have to look at the inability of the poor to purchase the basic necessities they need to survive which includes buying rice and other food items to be able to eat 3x a day.

Freedom is in money, it translates as the ability to express yourself in a way where you feel empowered as well as having your Basic Human Rights recognized and dignified. Not having enough money is to disempower people and to force them into crime and as you’ve noticed, massive amounts of money are lost to crime. All these things will stop if we have in place a proper technological system which we can establish with great ease at this stage. We have the technology and the managerial mechanisms to do so. In a matter of a few years, the whole world will be an internet grid and we can make use of all these things to prevent crime and corruption.

http://basicincomeguaranteed.wordpress.com/2013/07/04/basic-income-guaranteed-and-business-transparency/

We need to nationalize resources and create dividends enough to pay for a Basic/Living Income, Guaranteed from birth to death for the poor, the uneducated, the elderly and the unemployed so they can have access to the basic necessities they need to survive and live a dignified life. The earth provided us with enough resources so all will equally survive.

The rice price increase  is being questioned in the news:

Meanwhile, House Resolution 261, also filed by Dela Cruz, directs the House Committee on Food Security to conduct a formal inquiry into the real state of the country’s rice supply, especially amid the rising cost of rice in the market and the reported widespread rice shortage in the country.

“The price increment of the lowest commercial grade rice variety rose from P27 per kilo a few months ago to P34 per kilo recently and the nearest next prices stocks of a more edible quality is now at P41 per kilo,” it said. — BM, GMA News

http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/325006/economy/agricultureandmining/partylist-rep-wants-investigation-into-overpriced-rice

Regarding the increase in the price of rice, we have to look at  the value of capital  or human labor used to produce the product, in this case, rice.

Reduction in prices means reduced income for the people who helped produce the rice, which results to unemployment or to less rice supply.

If human labour is considered and people are being paid enough wage to make a decent living, there should be no problem with this,  granted there is no corruption going on.

We have to do the math, though.

From
Living Income and Lower Pricing

You should take a piece of paper and do some math: if you reduce price which implies that you are reducing the value of labor, you are also reducing income, which is what’s happened now for decades. The real income of the human has decreased, inflation has increased for certain things, some of the basic things have become cheaper and then there’s the enticement about savings.
This lower pricing mechanism exists when you have a machine taking over the human labor – which should be based on a capital and advancement of the human capacity and thus should value the human existence more; however, the opposite has happened. With reduced price, reduced income, unemployment increases yet it is recognized as economic efficiency, a capitalistic type of advancement. At the same time we have exchange rates, where certain countries have a high value currency and others a low value currency, which is then used to transfer resources between countries done under the disguise of corporations – which are owned by politicians – creating monopolies that cause extensive poverty. The fact is that this transfer of resources in theory should benefit all the citizens of a country.
The Basic Minimum Wage has to be higher than the Basic Income Guarantee so people will be motivated to work and express themselves doing work that they enjoy doing which would mean that prices of products may not be very low but because there is a Living Income Guaranteed from birth to death, this will not be a problem, rather, this will create a balanced ecosystem of money where everyone has enough to get the basic necessities they need to survive to live a decent life.
What will be the basic minimum wage where people will be motivated to work?
So, in a Basic Income Guaranteed approach it’s going to be vital to change the ‘living wage’ or the Basic Minimum Wage and here it is suggested that it should be at least double the Basic Income Guaranteed so that it is a motivation for people that would like to live a more extravagant or luxurious life to actually do the work – whether it is a janitor, a road worker, a gardener, a child-minder, whomsoever works – and thus does not depend on the Basic Income Guaranteed, gets a minimum wage that is double the Basic Income Guaranteed, that will ensure that there is motivation for people to do the labor and for those that would like to improve their lives, while the Basic Income Guaranteed ensures that everybody has got enough to make a decent living.

Pork Barrel 8: Lawmakers Named, Luxury Cars Named and We've Only Seen The Tip Of The Iceberg

There are some individuals and non governmental agencies named in the pork barrel scam,

http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/326182/news/specialreports/pork-patrons-47-reps-gave-nearly-a-billion-pesos-to-dubious-ngos

23 Lawmakers Plus Popular Names Linked to Pork Barrel Scam:

'Five senators and 23 members of the House of Representatives allegedly made available their pork barrel funds to dummy nongovernment organizations for purported ghost projects worth P10 billion over the past decade, according to affidavits submitted to the National Bureau of Investigation.'

http://2010presidentiables.wordpress.com/2013/07/15/revilla-enrile-estrada-marcos-lanette-23-other-lawmakers-contributed-their-pork-barrel-funds-to-p10b-mother-of-all-scams-pdi/#more-7025

Expensive cars of the alleged mastermind in the Pork Barrel Scam were allegedly acquired through the money:

http://2010presidentiables.wordpress.com/2013/07/15/revilla-enrile-estrada-marcos-lanette-23-other-lawmakers-contributed-their-pork-barrel-funds-to-p10b-mother-of-all-scams-pdi/#more-7025
'Also identified were expensive vehicles of Napoles supposedly acquired through the money: Range Rover (PN TIN 11), white Porsche Cayenne (CYN 98), white Toyota Alphard, BMW, Tahoe, Chevrolet, two Ford E-150, Starex Gold,  Toyota Prado, Savanna GMC, Lincoln Navigator, Hummer, Land Rover, Honda Civic and Mercedez Benz.—With reports from Norman Bordadora and Christian V. Esguerra'

Accounts  of the alleged mastermind frozen:
http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/business/08/17/13/415-napoles-accounts-covered-freeze-order

'The CA on Friday issued a 6-month freeze order on all of the bank accounts and related web of accounts of Napoles, members of her immediate family, other relatives and staff of the JLN group of companies, including accounts of non-government organizations allegedly allied with Napoles.
This was in response to the application of a freeze order filed by the Office of the Solicitor General on behalf of the Anti-Money Laundering Council.'

Only the Tip of the Iceberg?

'The much talked-about COA Special Audit Report only covers the period of 2007-2009. As more and more records—even from recent years—are examined, it appears that the misuse of pork did not stop in 2009. And while the congressional pork barrel already puts at least 25 billion a year in the hands of lawmakers, the fact is there are trillions worth of special and regular funds disbursed and possibly misused year after year.'
We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg.

There are 10 Billion Pesos from the Pork Barrel funds allegedly made available to dummy non governmental organizations for purported ghost projects, why doesn't this money reach the hands of the poor?

Transparency and accountability will not solve the problem of corruption. The corrupt wanted to win because they fear to lose. We created corruption within our mind.

Whenever we see the poor around us  - our maids, our drivers, our cooks etc. within our mind, we have this fear that one day we might lose our money and we'll end up like them, poor, suffering and in pain. So, we do whatever we can to be rich. We go to other countries to work so we can have more money so we will never be poor - so we will not suffer like them.

We created corruption in 'our within' as the mind and created this in 'our without' as this world system of money, self-interest and competition.

If we walk back, we will see that this all started when we took coins from the purses of our parents 'playfully' when we were young thinking that our action has no consequence.

We have to face consequence of what we accepted and allowed in this world.

The government has to make sure all the citizens of the country get the basic necessities it needs to survive because that is essentially what a government represents - the citizens.

We have to nationalize resources and create dividends enough to pay a Basic/Living Income to the poor, unemployed, elderly, uneducated etc.

It is a crime Not to.

Nature has provided all of us enough resources to survive equally, so we have to give the poor their equal share.

'Give so that you will receive'

Quotes From The Basic/Living Income Guarantee Website:
http://basicincomeguaranteed.wordpress.com/

'A government is the citizens representing themselves, no matter what system is utilized at the end of the day, which is what the government represents: the citizens. Therefore, any action that is taken to undermine the wellbeing of the citizens in a country – for instance causing poverty or diminishing resources, causing harm to the citizens of a country = that would be sedition and that is how it should be approached.
Sedition certainly is not when one exposes abuse by your government representatives that they should be held accountable and what they do should be transparent and therefore, one needs to re-look at the word ‘sedition’ carefully.
The media as a medium with which the citizens communicate and educate themselves to be effective in supporting each other to have a country that is economically and financially effective. The media should thus be owned by the people of the country and never only by certain individuals. No policy should ever be allowed that damages the country because to do that, is to in fact act in a way that is detrimental to the wellbeing of the country and by definition would be – if we have lawyers with some common sense – the premise for treason. And that is why the police force will exist, that’s why the commercial units will exist is to investigate those that do damage the Economy and to the Human Rights of the people. That’s what police’s purpose actually is, the purpose of the police is not to protect the rights of the wealthy, is to protect the rights of the citizen, to ensure that there is nothing that is happening that will cause unemployment that will cause people to live on the streets – that’s a crime!'
the statistics just inflate the idea that you know what you’re talking about, so statistics is just another form of inflation, it’s just Public Relations. It’s just a fake and false image and likeness with which the actual data is distorted so that those that benefit from having control and access to resources through this inflated view can justify why it is that the things are the way they are, why poverty is so immense and expansive… And so you’ll have the curious bizarre thing happening, for instance that the corporate top dogs and the loyalty they buy from people that are in the corporation – as well as their income – has been skyrocketing for at least the last 30 years. So these massive profits are used to buy loyalty which protects the top dogs. This same illness is now part of the government where people’s loyalty is bought so that they can protect the wealth of the few while the majority of people on Earth are existing in one or two dollars a day – and that’s quite okay apparently because the image is inflated to say that“That is enough for them to make a living.”

Pork Barrel 7 : Edsa Prayer Rally: Alleged Mastermind Giving Money To A Monsignor: Jesus Message

When i was in the Philippines in 1986, i walked with thousands of people who participated in the 'people's power' protest at the main highway in the Philippines called EDSA, not throughout the whole day but part of the day. That rally ended the 20 year administration of the then 'dictator', Ferdinand Marcos.

We believed then that he took the problems of the Philippines with him in Hawaii where he headed off aided by the US, and that at that point we're free. That was what we wanted to believe so we can feel we have done something worthwhile but that is just a BE-LIE-F.

I saw the problem repeating. It persisted.

Corruption is still here. The real problem was Not addressed.

The problem of poverty is a recurring problem that needs to be addressed for things to change for real. The problem of inequality and poverty will be here because we are recreating these problems, otherwise these problems will not be repeating itself.

As we see poor people suffering without food to eat, without shelter, without flushing toilets, without medical attention, without education etc.  we will have a FEAR within our mind, that one day we might lose our money and live like them to also suffer a life of poverty. We then push ourselves to make more and more money everyday so we can be so rich we will never be poor.

We go to other countries to work so we can receive dollars in exchange for our services. We know that the dollar has a higher value than the Philippine peso in the foreign exchange market, so we know that if we work in the US and UK for example we can provide our family members with the best possible education, housing, food etc. to live a comfortable life.

We have to ask ourselves,
Why not let everyone live Life in dignity, instead of just our family living a life of comfort?

It is because of self-interest - our own family first before others.

All children are our children. All families are our family. We are one and equal to Life because we are all part of Life.

We all are birthed here.

Can we forgive ourselves after we die when we have a life review, when we ask ourselves,
'did we stand for what is best for all'?

We have to forgive ourselves for accepting and allowing this system of abuse.

This is how we create the poor and we can justify this in so many ways but eventually we will face the consequence - corruption, crime, rape, child prostitution, mail-order bride, OFW abuse etc.

The list is endless not only in our country but all over the world.

We have to look at how we can change this unequal world system of money.

The prayers are not going to change us. It is US who need to change our operating basis  and implement some changes in society.

'The atmosphere outside the EDSA Shrine turned festive before noon Wednesday as participants began to gather for a prayer vigil against the pork barrel system.
Some of the participants included a clown who juggled big balls in front of the crowd, radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported.
Another participant was an elderly man who wore his message to President Benigno Aquino III over his shirt.
"PNoy, Please lang... Huwag mo kami ipakaing lubusan sa mga BABOY at BUWAYA (PNoy, don't feed us to the pigs and crocodiles)," the message read.'

People who sell hats and T-shirts are still making MONEY at the EDSA rally.
'Earlier in the day, vendors showed up at the EDSA Shrine to sell novelty items with anti-pork barrel statements and images, dzBB's Rodil Vega reported.
The report said the items being sold included T-shirts printed with anti-pork barrel slogans, sold at P100 to P150 each.'

The alleged mastermind allegedly pocketed MONEY from the pork barrel funds and even the church is mentioned in the news:

There is an allegation that the alleged mastermind gives a monthly stipend to a Monsignor of the Catholic church:

'In the joint affidavit submitted to the National Bureau of Investigation, the whistleblowers said Ramirez receives a monthly stipend, allegedly from the account of Napoles herself.
As an example, they enumerated several checks that amounted to P150,000 pesos each.
ABS-CBN sources said that Ramirez now lives at a property also allegedly owned by Napoles.
A male house helper also confirmed this.'

Corruption and poverty is still here.

What changed?

The people who run the government looks different, but that's about it.

Who we have become within ourselves did Not change.

We felt a relief after Marcos left but the same problem that we had then, we still have now. We tried to put a 'band-aid' to the wound, so to speak, but fail to see the real problem, so there is No lasting solution. It keeps repeating itself.

History repeats itself because we repeat the same mind patterns - we fear the same things, we desire the same things.

We have to face the REAL Problem, otherwise, the real problem will still be here and it's going to affect all of us = We All Lose.

The REAL problem is Inequality/Poverty.

We have to nationalize resources to create dividends enough to give a Basic/Living Income, to the poor, unemployed, elderly and uneducated, Guaranteed from birth to death

It is Not about giving alms to the church, to foundations, charities etc.  It is about giving the poor the basic necessities they need to survive with dignity from birth to death, not just when we like to.

It is living the message of Jesus:

Give what you want to receive.

We do not just want to get left-over money from the rich or the elite sometimes to then give it to the poor. This is seeing the poor as less than ourselves and because of guilt, we would like to give to the poor.

We want to be treated as an equal.

This is about giving a life of dignity for those who are living in poverty, realizing that nature gave us All resources to be able to survive equally.

Quotes:"I commit myself to show that when the starting point is life equally respected in each other, the fundamental premise to give so that you may receive is immediately grasped to such an extent that irrational fear evaporates." Bernard Poolman

“I commit myself to restore the common sense trust in the physical reality that is the giver of life, to restore order in an irrational , illusory world of consciousness.” Bernard Poolman

“I commit myself to demonstrate the oneness interdependency between all parts of the physical realm that together form the body that is life through which we have been destroying the Earth, and our life will end and therefore we cannot continue to live as if we are separate of the real reality without permanent consequence.” Bernard Poolman

Attack In Zamboanga, Philippines and The Impending War In Syria: Money Behind War

The Mindanao problem where there's fighting between Christians and Muslims in one part of the Philippines had been happening since i was young and it's still here 30 yrs later.

Nur Misuari is again mentioned in the news recently.

Why is this a recurring problem?

Who is Nur Misuari?

Misuari was a lecturer at the University of the Philippines in political science and in the 1960s, he established the Mindanao Independence Movement which aimed to organize an independent state in southern Philippines. The Mindanao Independence Movement formed the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) that sought political reforms from the Government of the Philippines. Unable to gain reforms, the MNLF engaged in military conflict against the Philippine government and its supporters between 1972 to 1976 under the leadership of Misuari. The military resistance to the government of former Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos did not produce autonomy for the Moro people. He departed to Saudi Arabia in exile. He returned to the Philippines after Marcos was removed from office during the People Power Revolution in 1986.

Misuari justified the MNLF armed struggle on the non-implementation of the Tripoli Agreement, originally signed by Ferdinand Marcos and later included and accepted in the peace agreement signed by former Philippine president Fidel Ramos in the 1990s. This agreement established an autonomous region for Moros with Misuari as governor. He was removed from his office whenGloria Macapagal-Arroyo became president in 2001 and was arrested in 2007 on charges of terrorism. On December 20, 2007 he was denied a petition for bail and remained under house arrest in Manila. The Philippine court however, granted the bail petition of Misuari's seven co-accused, at 100,000 pesos.[1] On April 25, 2008, he was allowed to post bail, upon the instructions of the Cabinet security cluster.[2]

According to the GMA news published n Sept. 11, 2013, Misuari's followers attacked Zamboanga City in the Philippines

'Last month, Misuari declared independence in his Sulu stronghold. His followers attacked Zamboanga City last Monday, resulting in a standoff with the military that is now on its third day.'

In the same news article, it was said that it was Not the whole MNLF that attacked Zamboanga

'Last week, the Secretary said their facilitator from Indonesia came to the Philippines and met with the government panel and two MNLF groups to tell them that they will be holding a meeting in Indonesia.

A few days after that, however, Misuari's followers attacked Zamboanga City.

"It is a violation of what one has said on that table that, in fact, a tripartite meeting was the process that would address these problems," she said.

Deles said they have already informed the Indonesian Embassy about the attack.

But she immediately noted that it was important to "recognize" that it wasn't the whole MNLF that attacked Zamboanga.

"Other senior MNLF leaders have spoken and said that we have not, we are not supportive of this, this is Misuari acting on his own," she said.'

Let's look at What's In the 'Peace Deal'

Peace Deal
http://www.unpo.org/article/14993

The Philippines has signed a framework peace plan with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), the country’s largest Muslim group. Signed by the chief of negotiators of the government and of the MILF, and witnessed by President Benigno Aquino and MILF leader Murad Ebrahim, this peace deal provides for a new autonomous region in the south of the country, a Muslim-majority area which is to be called Bangsamoro.
The Moro people have been systematically marginalised and victimised in an overwhelmingly Roman Catholic country.  Not only have they been subjected to discriminatory employment and housing policies throughout the centuries, but they have also been frequently misportrayed in the media. The escalating tensions between the Philippine government and the Moro people have been fuelled in the last half a century by the illegal annexation of the Moro’s land by Christian-Filipino militias such as the Ilaga. This not only resulted in a gradual displacement of the Moro from their homeland, changing the demographics of the area but has also meant that the region has become impoverished and underdeveloped.
After nearly 40 years of conflict and the loss of around 120,00 lives, it was agreed on 15 October 2012 that the new region of Bangsamoro is to replace the existing region that was created in 1989 and has recently been depicted by President Aquino as a ‘failed experiment’.
The preliminary pact delineates the principles for addressing the so-called Bangsamoro question, determining the jurisdiction and structures of a new self-governance entity that will replace and have greater power, both political and economic, than the current Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). It also lays down the foundations upon which the new relations between the Central government and the one in Bangsamoro will be forged.

So, we can see here that we have to face the consequence of what we accept and allow in this world.

We have to walk as equals.

Otherwise, we will have to face the problems of a world that is divided, grouped according to religious affiliations, according to what we like and what we do not like etc.

While we negotiate with one group for an agreement another group will disagree and will want to attack us.

Self-interest is the name of the war game.

We avoid the real issues in our failing economy through war and that is true in the Philippine scene and in the US -Syria situation.

Let's address the main problem: Poverty and Inequality.

When are we going to look at what will benefit everyone?

The news indicate that the US is said to be considering attacking Syria and so even if we have peace in the Philippines and all of these issues about secessionist movements in Mindanao gets resolved, if Obama pushes through with war with Syria we will all be affected.

The OFW's from the middle East has now returned to the Philippines because of the impending war in Syria. Where are they going to get money from?

Where will the people who will be affected by war get money and food? If there are agencies helping how long will the assistance going to be? It will be for a limited time, so why not assisting all from birth to death so all will survive?

We have to realize that our fear of survival is driving our desire for war and interestingly enough our desire for peace also comes from the same fear.

We have to see that this is the polarity equation in our minds we are living in reality.

One cannot survive without the other.

We have to look at our fear. Fear of survival drives us to compete to win.

Let us look at the value we give each other and the value we give Money.

Humans, plants, animals etc. are given a value less than Life. Money is given a value that is less than Life.

We cannot see that Money can be given a value equal to Life. We can use money to benefit all.

Why do we separate each other into self-interest groups when every decision we make affect us all? Why do we divide the earth's land and claim one part as ours and defend it using weapons that kill human, plant and animal life? Why do we destroy the ecosystem that support us to survive?

Why do we do this?

There's a lot of Money to be made in war.
'As they say, follow the money'

REAL World Peace is about us caring for what is benefit all not just one group or country but all groups and all countries.

What about us working together as one group called Team Life looking at the inequality that is here and providing a solution that will benefit all - where we can walk as equals so all equally survive and enjoy life?

We have to provide the basic necessities for everyone to Live a dignified Life.

We have to look at nationalizing resources and creating dividends sufficient to pay for a Basic/Living Income, Guaranteed from birth to death.

We have to realize that we all have an equal Land Right.

An Equal Land Right that places every living being on the land they choose to call their home, where living bodies walk upon the soil from which their lives are nourished and sustained, that provides both security and sustenance, that engages with the animal and plant kingdoms in interactive concert that becomes harmonious with the life force of all beings and all of life equal as one.
