NOODLES
the noodles clinging
to the bowl
as we eat with fork
or chopstick
allowing for
extra play
while eating a noodle
or sauteed lo mien
in a Chinese store
seated on the veranda
while eating Japanese
udon noodles
or the Korean noodles
with daikon radish and kombu
in a poverty stricken world
the ramen is sough for
it can fill the hunger
that the stomach
feels when looking at
an unequal world
we found out
we cannot stand
from our seat
as our tummy get extended
we become so heavy
the joints
cannot carry the body
why go through the
consequence outflow
when we can make peace
with the wheat or the rice
in a noodle show
eating noodles to nourish
rather than compete to cook
for popularity
on the food channel show
the taste and clinging sensation
that mesmerize us all
can be an awareness point
see the plant's expression
while eating the Vietnamese pho
let us create the best life
possible for all
