MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine economy is expected to sustain its strong growth next year and remain as one of the world’s fastest growing economies, Moody’s Analytics said yesterday.
“The Philippines continues to outperform and will remain one of the world’s fastest growing economies in 2014,” senior economist Glenn Levine said in a report titled Asia Pacific Outlook 2014: Realizing Potential.
“Confidence is high, and investment, both public and private, is driving the economy forward. Demand should rebound quickly after Typhoon Haiyan,” he continued.
The Philippine economy expanded by 7.4 percent in the first nine months of the year, faster than the government’s six to seven percent target for the year.

Rappler News:

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines is expected to be among the fastest growing economies in the world between 2010 and 2050, according to a study released by Knight Frank and Citi Private Bank.
In the 2012 Wealth Report, the Philippines is forecast to post a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of 7.3% during the period, making it the 6th fastest growing economy in the world.
Let's look at the word 'grow'
From the Word Web:
v.
Become larger, greater, or bigger; expand or gain

The statistics of a business is usually used to tell if one's business is growing. If the statistics spike up, it means growth and if it falls, it means the business is losing and if we do not do anything to make it grow, it will close down.

Statistics is used in marketing and sales to sell ones product in exchange for money and profit.

The government is an organization and it works on this same platform too.

The politicians are elected by the people while the heads of departments are picked by the Human Resources In Charge or the employer of a business .

We can look at statistics and say what we want to say but the fact is, if there exist 1 or more poor individuals who does not have the money to get the basic necessities they need to survive in that particular country, that means the government is not helping everyone optimally, the government being of the people, by the people and for the people, everyone should have the money to get the basic necessities they need to survive, that is Common sense.

Let's say for example that in the Philippines, the amount of money one should have to live a dignified life  is 20,000 pesos a month, they should have that amount of money every month and the government has to find a way to make this a living reality.

No amount of statistics can hide the increasing amount of poverty in a country.

Let's expand the word 'grow' within this definition:

Become larger or  expand  as all survives

So, i am here playing the role of the President of the Philippines,

I ask myself the question, 'what will i do?'

My answer will be:

I will give a Living Income, Guaranteed from birth to death to the Poor, the unemployed, the elderly and all those who qualify.

This is the only way my role as the President can stand for REAL  and that standing will be for - what is best for all.
