Realizing and Living My Utmost Potential 9: Health, Teaching and A Family of 4 Attending My Cooking Class

A 10 year old cooking a Meal

Living Principles:
Links To Parts 1-8 of Realizing and Living My Utmost Potential

A family of 4 attended my cooking class last July 25. The Mom, the Dad and the two kids were present - one girl and 1 boy. The boy is 12 years old and the girl is 10 years old.

The 12 yr old was the first to volunteer to do the cooking and then the 10 year old. I set it up in such a way that we'Il be selecting our own ingredients ourselves.
So, rather than me being the authority for all to look up to for information and knowledge regarding how to cook, how and what to cook, I gave everyone the authority to decide what ingredients to cook with.

I see teaching as an equal and one opportunity to guide oneself, and so others, to train/walk the process to learn from ones own exploration of the physical such as within cooking - which is about exploring the physical act of cooking coming from a starting point of what is best for oneself in terms of individual nutrition to support the body optimally, and what is best for all - where animals and plants are not judged as good or bad, but rather, acknowledged for being here to support the body to survive through proper farming methods that will give them the care they need where they will also be able to express themselves.

Here's how I saw a cooking class before and I want to look at my mind pattern:
>I have to show everyone how good i am in cooking
>but someone might be better than me
>ooops I better brush up on my cooking skills

In this mind pattern i have an idea of what a cooking class should be. Then, i project my  compared myself with others in the class or  the iron chefs for example on tv, where I am impulsed by what i've seen in the media. I then judge myself as inferior and then compete with them in my mind - where the definition of the word 'cooking' itself was not seen, but was associated to a subjective interpretation of reality. Instead of forgiving myself for this, I believed that was a normal thing to do, not realizing this is consequential for the body as I manipulate my body to manifest my mind's desire rather than express myself as who I really am within what I do.

So here's my self- forgiveness for being directed by the mind:
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have the idea that i have to show everyone how good i cook believing what I saw in the media that good cooks become famous and is being paid more money. I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to judge myself as inferior then project the polarity opposite of that onto someone believing that - my interpretation was what it was in reality. I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to brush up on my cooking skills as a form of manipulation - manipulating the body to learn and enact what i desire.

During the beginning of the class, I asked everyone what is their definition of 'Health'. What I got was:
'Health is giving your body that which is good'
'Health is not giving your body that which will make it sick'
'Health is giving the body something that supports a part of the body to function effectively'

In the Word Web, 'Health' is defined as 'absence of disease'.
Do you wonder why we spend our lives resisting disease or fearing having a disease? Eventually, we get what we resist - because what we resist persist.

Realizing and Living My Utmost Potential 5 Redesigning The Cake

21 Days Mind Investigation on Sugar
Physical  Support
Awareness of How Much Sugar We Take: The Sugar Log Project

I have known the cake to be a source of pleasure since I was a child. We had birthday cakes, graduation cakes etc.We have native cakes like purple yam cake, rice cakes etc. Recently, after my sugar investigation, I realized that cake is food and food is here to nourish the body - it is NOT here to satisfy mt craving for pleasure when I am bored or sad.

I realized that the body has to agree with what I eat. When the mind directs my behavior, it leads to consequence outflow - disease. An example of this would be - diabetes, cancer, hypertension, stress etc because the mind works with 'good and bad, right or wrong, and positive or negative' . Acting out thought patterns based on my psychological craving for pleasure which is fueled by my fear of boredom will be directing me to eat, rather than be in physical reality behaving sensibly when eating and physically enjoying the food - its taste, smell etc.

Rather than put so much sugar in the cake, what is sensible for me is to add food items and the amount of meat etc. that i know assist my body. I can cross-reference by looking at my weight, my blood sugar etc.

The Next Day Reading After I ate 1 slice of this meat cake
Fasting Blood Glucose Reading

I can see that it is not spiking my blood sugar level where it disturbs homeostasis in the body - creating chaos within my body. I play with the taste that will get the cake to the stomach to be processed so the nutrition can be distibuted to the cells realizing meat has its own nutrition:
Pork: B6, B12, C, D, Phosphorous, Potassium, Zinc etc.
Pork
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pork

Beef: B1 Thiamin, B2 Riboflavin, B3 Niacin, B6, B9 Folate, B12, Choline, D, E, K, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium etc.
Beef
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beef

Here's how i redesigned the cake,
http://junejourneytolife.blogspot.com/2014/07/a-pancake-that-turned-into-meat-cake.html
I put some meat on top of the cake for protein.
This will still 'evolve', so stay tuned.

I saw that when I eat meat with other food stuff in the' right' portion (which I tested), it helps in stabilizing my blood glucose. What is also affecting the blood sugar is the mind - stress can spike the blood sugar.

The batter was made of almond flour and eggs. I topped it with uncooked ground pork seasoned with a pinch of salt and onions. I baked it in the oven, then piped some mayonnaise and tabasco sauce on top (optional). I had some cherries at that time so I put 4 cherries on top.

Our body needs nutrition yet what is happening is that we are eating for the sake of satisfying our desire for 'sweets' - for 'pleasure' or to entertain our taste buds with different taste sensations which we connected to our past experience of the food item we are eating in the present.

. Let's not choose what to eat because of fear (fear of boredom, fear of getting fat, fear of dis-ease and death).

Let's prepare our food to align to what food really is - a substance that nourish the body.
Let's align eating to what will assist the body to function optimally and not based on our ideas of what tasty food is in our mind.

Day 4 Three Kinds of Yogurt: Yogurtland, Wholefoods and Layla Farms

21 Days Mind Investigation on Sugar
Physical  Support
Awareness of How Much Sugar We Take: The Sugar Log Project
What Is This Blog About?
Fear of eating yogurt that is runny or liquidy

Mind Pattern:
>It's late , I can't get to the yogurt place
>I might just get the yogurt in the other store
>Ooops, this is a bit runny for a frozen yogurt
>what about if i get the other one at the back of the store?
>Ooops, this has a good texture, not too runny for a drinking yogurt
>let me taste it
>this is okay but I like the one that i normally eat because it has a good texture

What's the fear?

Fear of eating yogurt that is runny or liquidy

What is Self-forgiveness?

It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing self to separate from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as subjective interpretations of reality regarding something or someone that leads to stability as breath.

Forgiving Myself In Writing

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to participate in the collective flow to desire that which will give me pleasure - fearing to eat that which will give me a negative experience which I defined as unpalatable, nasty and unacceptable fearing eating the Wholefoods yogurt that is half liquid - half solid believing that i will have a negative energy experience if I eat a yogurt that is not so creamy and has less body - is runny or liquidy, as i have connected it to a memory of me eating a shaved ice dessert in the Philippines called halo-halo that is half liquid already and have a negative experience of it so desiring one which is newly prepared believing that it is better because it keeps its form in tact and as i eat it there's more positive energy experience from it as the ice stays solid longer and within this categorize the Layla farms plain yogurt as second in line believing that even if it is liquid, it has a smoothness that is consistent throughout the yogurt

so desiring to eat the yogurt that I normally eat from Yogurtland as having more body and has a homogenous texture all over the yogurt.

Commitment To Correction:
I commit myself to when and as I see myself comparing the texture between these 3 yogurts in my mind from a subjective view of reality, where I project my righteous personality or the judge personality - comparing, judging and in a way running a competition within my mind between these 3 brands of yogurt - I stop and bring myself back to reality - here, as breath in a body- to, instead of the fear of the negative experience from the texture directing me, I instead look at what yogurt is in objective reality - as food, as my reality check.

Why am I expanding or redefining words?

Words are like microchips that has in it for example, thoughts, imaginations etc. that is an interpretation of reality in our mind. It is defined within what is best for us, as individuals, which is based on competition within survival of the fittest . So, in expanding or redefining a word our goal is to align its meaning to what the word is in physical reality - which is mutually beneficial for all of us, humans, plants, animals etc. as it is what the word is, realizing that we can forgive ourselves for the meaning we gave it and correct ourselves - giving it a meaning we can live and express ourselves as, in physical reality that aligns to what is best for all -  as Living Words.

Word Web
Yogurt
A custard-like food made from curdled milk

where instead of defining it within being custard like and having an idea in my mind of what a custard is based from my experience of eating custard in the past, I expand its definition as

Yogurt

food made from curdled milk with varying textures - liquid, semi solid, etc. which is essentially a part of the whole - that is life.

I commit myself to expand the meaning of texture as equal to how i change from defining texture within emotional sensation to experiencing texture as a physical sensation of taste or touch

Word Web

Texture
The feel of a surface or a fabric

I defined texture in the past within emotional sensation, so i will expand its definition as the following:

Texture

The feel of a surface - where texture is defined as physical sensation through taste or touch.

Day 3 Raw Chocolate vs Heated Chocolates: Texture and Taste : 21 Days Mind Investigation on Sugar

21 Days Mind Investigation on Sugar
Physical  Support
Awareness of How Much Sugar We Take: The Sugar Log Project
Note:
I was presented with this mind pattern which happened before I started eating the chocolate with stevia.

Mind Pattern

>I do not like the combination of taste and texture of this raw chocolate
>I like the taste and texture of the chocolate with coconuts better
>I better not eat this raw chocolate and instead buy me those chocolate with coconuts

What's the belief?
That the chocolate with coconuts is better than the raw chocolate with coffee beans because of its taste and texture

What's the fear?
Fear of eating chocolates that does not have the taste and texture I Like

What is Self-forgiveness?
It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing self to separate from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as subjective interpretations of reality regarding something or someone that leads to stability as breath.

Writing Self-forgiveness Statements:

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to fear eating raw chocolates with the taste and texture that i do not like, specifically the one that i bought that has coffee beans in it,
believing that they have a grainy texture that cuts through the smooth texture of the chocolate which lessens my blissful indulgence and so judging the heated chocolate with sugar as having taste and texture that I like, so wanted to eat it - the evil me, only interested in my satisfaction and prolonging my pleasure rather than seeing the chocolate for what it is  - so desiring to eat the cooked version, with both toasted coconuts and coconut sugar believing that it takes the chocolate to another level - a level where it stops being food and becomes my slave for pleasure - giving me more pleasure than the raw chocolate and as i am only interested in pleasure, i do not want to investigate about where it came from or who and why it was manufactured - so not see the human using the chocolate for pleasure and for money and profit - not even questioning why only some people can get chocolates when the earth gave it for all equally not asking myself why some people can have access to it while others do not have access to it - and why I am using it for pleasure, so much so that the body gets abused from eating so much of it, preparing it in so many ways and with different sweeteners in my desire to make myself blissfully happy so I can have pleasure.

I realized that I connected the bitterness of the coffee in the raw chocolate to a memory of me eating bitter gourd that is uncooked believing that it is bitter and so it wasn't giving me pleasure, blaming it for tasting the way it did.

I commit myself to instead of blaming the bitter gourd for its bitter taste and projecting my dislike of it to the bitterness of the coffee in the raw chocolate, prepare it either cooked or pickled to make it eatable to get the nutrition my body needs from it when it needs it.

I commit myself to instead of judging the coconut sugar sweetened (heated) chocolate as superior than the raw one because of its taste and texture, and judge the raw chocolate as inferior, blaming the raw chocolate for tasting bitter - to rather experience its taste expression and get the nourishment the body needs from it however less it maybe, realizing that both the raw and the heated chocolate have nutrients like magnesium etc. and that i can adjust the amount of chocolates I eat to rather than give the body more carbohydrates than it needs by overeating, give the body the amount it needs when it needs it.

I commit myself to expand and redefine the word 'chocolate' as equal to my story of how i changed my pleasure seeking relationship to it to one that is supporting the body to get nutrients that it needs, release the definitions i gave it, that came from definitions of others based from mind interpretations of reality -which is mostly based from desire for pleasure - where i do not see it for what it really is, and instead see it within my mind - as a 'food slave' that can give me pleasure or a 'food agent' that can make me sick and fat - so, i am going to commit to live the expanded or redefined definition as my expression and stop judging the chocolate.

Expanding the meaning of the word 'Chocolate':
http://junejourneytolife.blogspot.com/2014/05/expanding-word-chocolate.html

I commit myself to see the chocolate for what it is - as food

I commit myself to develop an equal and one relationship to food and see it as what it is

I commit myself to get feedback from the body and develop an equal and one relationship with it.

Using Food as Treat In 'Trick or Treat'

Wikipedia

Trick-or-treating or guising is a customary practice for children on Halloween in many countries. Children in costumes travel from house to house in order to ask for treats such as candy (or, in some cultures, money) with the question "Trick or treat?". The "trick" is a (usually idle) threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given to them. In North America, trick-or-treating has been a customary Halloween tradition since the late 1940s. It typically happens on October 31,[1]

This is an event where mischief is used to get treats. Sweets are being used here for us to get entertained through our taste buds as we get addicted to the taste of sugar as candies and chocolates  - all because we want to be happy by stimulating our taste buds with sweets. We do not consider how eating these treats affect the body and how our mind take nutrients from our body.

We are not demonizing sugar here. What i am saying is we can take sugar in awareness. We can do self-forgiveness for using and abusing sugar for feeding our addiction to pleasure and then test how much sugar supports our body in terms of how much fruits, vegetables (some have sugar too, like beets and carrots for example) and prepared sweets we can take in terms of portions that can support the body.

So, i envision food prepared in awareness to be given during this 'Trick or Treat' events.

Self-forgiveness for Mental Health: Blame: Blaming The Salad For Having No Taste

Mind Pattern:

>I like a tasty meal
>There's salad in the salad bar
>I know that a vegetable salad is simple to prepare and eat- I tested it and my body is ok with it
>but I do not like it without that kalamata dressing
>what if I eat a veggie salad without a dressing?
>no, that's 'boring'

Who am I blaming? Why?
The food/vegetables, for tasting the way they taste

Who am I Judging?
I am judging the vegetable salad - that the salad by itself without a dressing, tastes 'bad'

What's the Fear?
Fear of being bored

What is Self-forgiveness?
It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing self to separate from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as subjective interpretations of reality regarding something or someone that leads to stability as breath.

Forgiving Myself In Writing:

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to participate in a collective fear of eating food that the collective defined as 'bland' like vegetable salad without a dressing and becomes depressed when I have in front of me vegetable salad without dressing and so, desires food that i defined as tasty which will give me all the taste sensations i like - like a salad with kalamata dressing plus all the veggies i like to eat, as per how i programmed my mind to like or dislike certain foods based on a mind definition of what is good or bad in terms of taste instead of realizing that food is about supporting the body to get the nourishment that it needs - so it is not about the taste of food being here to entertain me - they are here to express themselves just like me. It is about me deciding what to eat based from an awareness of what size/portion of this food I will take that will support my body realizing that all food items are plants and animals that are part of the whole - that is life. I realized I can eat a salad without dressing and experience the vegetables as they are. I can forgive myself and correct myself for interpreting their taste inside my mind and attaching them with fear of boredom and a memory of eating tasty food while the poor people in the Philippines eat bland food - like rice and salt because they do not  have money to buy food, where I defined bland food within poverty and suffering.

Word Web

Food

Any solid substance (as opposed to liquid) that is used as a source of nourishment

I commit myself to change my starting point from interpreting the taste of vegetables within my mind to bringing myself to look at objective reality as what it is - seeing food items like veggie salads as what they are - as food - that will give nourishment for the body.

I commit myself to when i see myself judging food items and blaming them - like the salad, judged as bad without a dressing, and blamed for expressing itself by its taste - I stop and be aware of me as the breath here, bringing myself from the mind to back here in physical reality and see that all of us - humans, plants, animals etc. are birthed here, therefore we are equals - so I will release the judgment, forgive myself and correct myself - to rather than judge and blame them within my mind, walk as an equal by being aware of that truth and eating from the starting point of giving nourishment for the body that is not based on beliefs, but rather, me investigating how the body is supported by foods i eat - which can be cross - referenced by others.

I commit myself to redefine the word 'taste' and give it a meaning equal to the story of how i changed.
