Who's WEALTHY?

The Word "WEALTHY"

Wealth is not about some having more than another while some have less than another.

We are talking about the Earth's Body.

ALL the ORGAN-isms  in that body can have the basic necessities to survive.

The earth gave equally for all.

It is about all having the basic necessities to survive - so we are able to express ourselves in this world.

The Word Poverty The Mind & Eating Disorder

Poverty The Mind and Eating Disorder

Our determination to succeed is driven by our fear of being poor.

We can see what is going on around us everyday and we see people dying in other parts of the world for lack of the basic necessities to survive.

We can stop looking at the news but we know this is happening. We know we cannot fool ourselves for long.

We know this is something we need to address. We do not know how to address this as in our mind this seems to be a "big problem", so we try to blame others and instead of taking this on, we hope that one day someone will wave a magic wand and there will be some magic - that will make this end.

We sit in front of our computer, we eat food with friends and family, we shop until we drop, we listen to the kind of music we like and we watch the kind of movies we watch.

For a moment we think everything is better.

But after a while, one day when we are alone we are faced with the same mind chatter. So we do the same things we do to make ourselves believe "everything is okay". The media creates a jingle similar to that, so we really think everything is better - that our lives changed.

We go on living our lives. We find more friends to eat with and more tasty foods to eat. We feel happy for a moment but we are getting fat.

We stop eating "butter" and stop eating rice.
We try eating the food we think is healthy.

We succeed for a while but we reach a breaking point.

We eat and binge so these things we suppressed in our mind will go away and believe they will be solved, but the more we eat, the more we get fat, and the more we become sick.

We try to control this by changing our diet or becoming a "health guru". Our business is making money after we spent so much money to learn to do the business part of it. We feel happy for a moment.

We try to do yoga and meditation to suppress our memories of pain and failure. The mind keeps quiet for several hours and because this is a form of mind control, we have to do it again and again so we will feel the limited peace inside our mind.

When we stop the lifestyle modification, meditation, stress release techniques, breath control, exercise, diet etc. , the mind chatter and stress resumes and the DIS-EASE (discomfort) appears.

We as individuals, perceived as having our own I DENT(DENT-ure) TI  (I-nformation T-echnology) TY and groups that we identify as separate from other groups are perceived separate from the WHOLE - that is life.

How can we have lasting peace (piece) when we are a piece that is missing in the whole puzzle?

LYRICS FOOD Bridging Heaven onn Earth: BHOE

Bridging Heaven On Earth Music

BHOE FOOD

Look at the body
and see how it functions
It is a large factory that
process nutrition

Can you see what will happen
if the body becomes moody?

dumping some nutrients
more than what is needed by the body
then restricting some
that is needed by our organs

the body will be dead by now
unable to create

eat the portion
that is needed
eat everything in moderation
journal if you need to
and get the feedback
that you need

for the body is a factory
that behaves for a purpose
it does not get moody

It keeps functioning
all throughout our life

without awareness
we eat for entertainment

when the body gets sick
because of our fuzzy logic
we blame the body

we get possessed
by the diet that we think is healthy
unable to push through
we give up and binge
then blame the fatty tissue

we desire not to eat
eating 1 Tablespoon a week
we become breatharians
to survive even if there's no food

we each have
a unique DNA makeup
no one diet fits all
so we have to customize our food

a craving is a craving
it is not what the body wants
it is us in our mind
desiring to eat
when we are bored,
confused, overwhelmed,
excited or in love

do not judge how another eat
for you do not know
their food journey

eating is about who we are
the body, mind & being trinity

Let there be money for all
to get the food we all need

The 'I Am Poor' Mind Pattern: Voiceless Part 2

Youtube Link

Mind Pattern

>I am powerless without money
>I do not have a voice
>Please pity me
>give me alms or charity in cash or in kind

The fact is, without money we cannot have the basic necessities to survive.
Here, I am looking at a belief that If I do not have money, I do not have a voice, therefore powerless.
Here, there is a desire to be pitied and to receive alms or charity.

Wanting to be pitied and accepting less than what we are worth, like alms or charity is not good enough. We are all parts of this one life so we have equal rights to the resources given to us equally by the earth - we have to speak up and rewrite this mind pattern and create a world that guarantees survival for all.

===
I will rewrite this pattern by using self-forgiveness, redefining words and writing a self-correction script - using a commitment statement to correct myself in every moment - when I see myself getting into this pattern.
===

What is Self-forgiveness?

It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing self to separate from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as subjective interpretations of reality regarding something or someone that leads to stability as breath.

Self-forgiveness Statements:

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that I do not have a voice and that because I have no money, I am powerless - rather than see, realize and understand that money is distributed unequally - others receive more and others receive less - so it is for me to  assist and support a system where all have the basic necessities to survive - starting with a living income guarantee - supporting equality.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to desire to be pitied believing that that will make others give me a little bit of money so I can survive, instead of seeing and realizing that - I am giving myself a value that is less than life - by being someone who needs charity to survive - rather than giving myself a value equal to life - someone who is part of the whole - that is life, one who has the right to receive equal resources from the earth - and one who has the right to receive an amount of money that guarantees survival from birth to death.

Correction Script

I commit myself to blog and speak about the problems of inequality and the solutions available  -  to pave the way for a society that aligns its expression to the expression of life, where the main principle of life is the basis of its social policy and decisions - 'what is best for all'.

I commit myself to redefine the word 'poor'

The Story of Sonia: Christmas, The Mind Pattern of Giving,The Word Help and Survival

In the News:

Pinay who inspired Cannes film now living in poverty

'Auntie Terry' to attend premiere of 'Ilo Ilo' in Singapore

MANILA - The Filipina domestic helper who inspired the Cannes-winning film "Ilo Ilo" is set to attend the premiere of the movie in Singapore on August 29.
Teresita "Auntie Terry" Sajonia was recently visited by Singaporean director Anthony Chen in San Miguel, Iloilo, together with his younger brother, Christopher.
Sajonia took care of Chen and his brothers 16 years ago.
An article published in Singapore's Chinese-language newspaper Lianhe Zaobao reported how Sajonia, 56, is now living in poverty and has been neglected by the relatives she used to help financially when she was still a domestic helper.

The Word Web's definition of the word 'Help' is:
v.
Give help or assistance; be of service

This definition of this word is being used in the Philippine scene:

Most Filipinos give help or assistance to family when one feels guilty that one did not help as much as one could because one did not have the means/money to help when one was barely surviving in the Philippines, so when one gets a good paying job abroad one gives gifts in the form of money, education etc. to ones relatives then has the illusion that one has transcended ones guilt, so feels good about oneself. But when one loses that good paying job and asks for help in turn from the people they have helped in the past, and gets rejected, then they go into regret. They regret having helped that person and blames oneself for helping them in the first place.

Here's the Mind Pattern

>one is Poor and does not have much money to survive let alone give gifts
>one cannot give gifts to relatives
>one feels bad
>one strengthens ones resolve to earn more money
> one becomes wealthy
>one gives gifts to poor relatives and friends
>one feels good
>one feels 'useful' and 'powerful'
>one loses job and money
>one feels 'useless and powerless'
>one asks help from ones relatives
>no one gives help
>one goes into regret that one helped and blame the persons one helped
>one lives in poverty and hope that we become wealthy and rich one day
>one is given help or one finds another job that pays good money
>one give gifts to family and friends
>one loses ones job again

The pattern repeats itself

During Christmas, this is the pattern that plays out, just a little bit different:. let's have a look:

>Its Christmas
>one buys gifts
>one feels good about giving gifts to relatives and friends
>one feels 'powerful' and 'useful'
>After Christmas, we look at the expenses we incurred in giving gifts
>we realized we overspent
>one saw ones credit card debt is too much
>one decides to repay the credit card company every month
>one loses job
>one feels 'useless and powerless'
>one decides not to pay the credit card debts because one does not have the money to pay
>one realize no one is going to lend one money if one do not have a credit line nor a job
>one regrets spending so much money in gifts
>one works hard in replenishing the money in the dwindling bank account
>Christmas comes again
>one gives gifts again
>one loses ones job again

The pattern repeats itself

The story of the Filipina overseas worker above is our own story of survival which we repeat again and again during Christmas, when we give to charity etc.

In a world that does not honor all life, there's the 'haves' and the 'have-nots'. There's the ones who can afford to give and the ones waiting for gifts, hoping.

This is what happens in a world where not all is given the chance to live in dignity where NOT everyone has enough money to get the basic necessities they need to survive all year long.

The feelings of 'love' usually comes from 'giving help' which turns to feelings of 'uselessness, powerlessness and hopelessness' when one loses ones job or source of income.

That's why we created Santa Claus. That's why we call the ones who help us as 'Santa Claus' .

So, we have to question our motive when we give gifts or when we give help. The question we want to ask ourselves is:

How can we give a REAL Gift that lasts?

We can live a life where we do not have to wait for Christmas to get gifts.

Expanding The Word 'Help'
To give assistance; where assistance is about the activity of contributing to that which is what life is about, giving ALL a dignified life, hence, be of service to life, realizing we are all parts of life that is birthed here and therefore equals - with equal opportunity to survive.

Half Serving of Rice In Restaurants: Preventing Rice Wastage?

Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has filed Senate Bill 1863, or the "Anti-Rice Wastage Act of 2013," seeking to impose fines on establishments that refuse to serve half-cup rice orders.
The goal is to lessen rice wastage, the grain being the Filipino's staple food, Marcos noted in a statement Sunday.
“This measure will considerably reduce rice wastage on these establishments by letting... customers... order just the right amount of rice that they can consume," the senator said.
Citing numbers from the Food and Nutrition Research Institute, Marcos said each Filipino wastes three teaspoons of rice every day, equivalent to some P23 million or P8.28 billion a year.
Under the Senate bill, establishments refusing to serve half-cup rice orders will be slapped with a fine of P20,000 for the first offense, P50,000 for the second offense and P100,000 for the third offense.

How many elite politicians attend parties every week, every month etc.?

How much food is wasted in those events and how much food is being used to satisfy our tongue without considering the body of the poor that is not being supported to survive optimally because of lack of money?

I will first question why  we as the elite have parties that involve a lot of food to feed our stomachs even if this is not needed by our body. We use food to have fun and party. We feed our desire to splurge, party and serve many tasty meals during parties and events while the poor does not have anything to eat.

We have the money to buy food and money to pay people to cook many different 'tasty food' dishes because we have maids in our employ.

We use food to please our elite guests - so we can get support for our next election run, without even considering the nutrition our body needs.

We forgot what eating all about - we eat food to support the body to survive.

This brings us to our next question:

Do we ever question, where the poor is getting money to buy food to support their body to survive optimally?

The elite in the Philippines dine in restaurants when the poor cannot even eat 3x a day.

Do we really care or we just want to impose our elite ideas on the laws of the land so we can be popular - without considering the pressing problems of poverty and malnutrition because we have plenty of food on our Own table that we can afford the luxury of not eating a full cup of rice - for health and fitness purposes?

Is this a way for us to divert people's attention from providing a solution to Poverty?

While the elite wastes food, the poor needs money to be able to buy food to support their body to survive.

Why is there a problem?

This equates to one thing - SELF-INTEREST.

What about standing for that which will benefit all?

Why don't we give the poor a Living Income, Guaranteed from birth to death so we all can live a dignified life?

Putting my shoes in all the senators' shoes, what i will do is investigate how we can give the poor a Living Income Guaranteed  - so they can buy the food to support their body to get the nutrition it needs to survive optimally and sponsor a bill that will make this a reality.

We should not forget the fact that food is given by nature to all of us equally - not just to a few.

Making Poverty History: Bono and Geldof: Live 8 Concerts: What Is The Key?

Who is taking on Poverty ?

There were concerts done by Bono and Geldof for Making Poverty History
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_8

Bono met with some political figures to make them aware of what's happening in Africa
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgGP3zV8kdU

Bono also talked about Poverty when he talked at TED :
http://www.one.org/us/shareworthy/bono-at-ted?gclid=CN3cmbGl2rkCFWxo7AodWyAA3A

“Forget the rock opera, forget the bombast, my usual tricks. The only thing singing today will be the facts.”
By becoming a “factivist,” we can learn what needs to be done to end extreme poverty within the next generation. And the facts are beyond promising. Since 2000:
  • Eight million AIDS patients have been receiving retroviral drugs
  • Malaria deaths have been cut in some countries by 75%
  • Child mortality rate of kids under 5 is down by 2.65 million deaths a year
  • Extreme poverty declined from 43% in 1990 to 33% in 2000 to 21% by 2010.
Extreme poverty has been cut in half in the last 20 years, and the facts show that we can get it to virtually zero within a generation — but only if we act.
This looks like it is going to solve poverty, but will it really?
Statistics can be rigged.
We cannot trust statistics because it is being used to serve our self-interest.

So, when someone says poverty will be zero at a certain date, we have to investigate this claim if this is founded on real seeing and understanding of what's going on in this world - the real problem and not just dreaming about it based on a belief.

Who can we trust?

We can trust our stand from the starting point of 'what is best for all' realizing that that essentially will result to 'what is best for ourself'

But when our stand is clouded by the desire to win within the fear of losing in a casino world system of inequality, we have to forgive ourselves, and change our starting point
- look at the reason why we do what we do

We have to look at our starting point.
If we are trying/desiring to win in our campaign to end poverty, fear of losing is fueling it as desire and fear are like 2 poles of a magnet - just like hate and love - one cannot be without the other,  it becomes our starting point.

What is fueling our desire to win this campaign against poverty is fear that poverty is going to be here and we are 'guilty' that we are living the good life and we are depriving the poor of their share.

This is not a true starting point.
The true starting point is standing within the principle of  'what is best for all'.
This means we have to look at what life is about and acknowledge that we are all birthed here in this one life, and within that, realize that we are Equals, and that we will not accept and allow inequality in our world.
We have to walk as Equals denouncing the inequality in this world system.
We have to forgive ourselves for accepting and allowing this world system of inequality.
We have to stand up and speak and assist in creating a world that truly honors life.as part of our self-correction.
When we correct our starting point from fear of losing (so desiring to win in our campaign), releasing that and changing our starting point to 'what is best for all', we are aligning our expression as who we really are, to life's expression.
Nature gives its resources to all of us equally and it is standing for what is best for all of us.
To not give others their share is a crime.
Allowing Poverty in an unequal world system of money is a crime.
The Equal Life Foundation Bill of Rights Number 1 States that:
An Equal Economic Right that insures that all financial needs are accessible and available to ensure that the fundamental requirements of a healthy and fulfilling life can be realized and manifested.

From: Living Income and Nationalized Resources
For the idea of Basic Income that is currently being proposed by various groups around the world to work, one needs to look at the whole point of resources within countries and the most effective way to bring about a source that will be able to provide the monetary resources for a Basic Income for everyone – so that each one has got a basic level of dignity – would be to Nationalize all the Resources – whether it is mining or production within a country – to structure the products produced and the resources produced through a pricing structure that produces enough profit so that such money is specifically dedicated to pay a Basic Income to everyone in the country.
This is how the shareholder becomes the citizen and therefore the citizen benefits from the shareholding and the Basic Income becomes the way that the profit of the business is utilized to help everyone. Each one will be made aware of buying products from the very companies that are producing the income that will become the Basic Income Guaranteed. In this way, the Basic Income becomes possible, it is a form of socialism and it brings capitalism or the ownership principle of capitalism into a place where all citizens of the country become part of the basic capital, which is the basic resource that is then utilized for the benefit of all the citizens within the country.
This way the corporation = becomes government, the shareholder = the citizen, the profit = the Basic Income Guaranteed and you have financially sustainable basic solution to create integrity and to bring about the end of poverty within a country. From that perspective one can then develop business structures of competition, but there are certain things that are not part of competition: the human should not compete with each other to the extent where poverty is caused or where people are driven to starvation, or where people do not have homes or food – that is not competition, that is brutality and is completely unacceptable.

The Solution To Poverty In America

Poverty does not only exist in Asia, but also in America. This is what i found out in my 15 years of being in the US having seen the homeless in Broadway Street in Los Angeles and the homeless in New York, Arkansas, San Diego and Dallas.

Many people from the third world countries like where i came from, the Philippines, dream to go to America for a better life, but this is now a broken dream, as we can see in this documentary, with the middle class losing their jobs and their house plus children to feed and take care of,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kV4grZ_Lw5s

From:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2423834/One-seven-Americans-living-poverty.html

'A new study reveals that 46.5 million Americans, including children, are living in poverty amounting to one in ever seven people across the country.
The alarming figures, released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Tuesday, is nothing new. It marks the sixth year in a row that the statistic has failed to improve.
Remaining stagnant at 15 per cent, the nation's poverty rate is not statistically different from the number of impoverished in 2011. '

The poverty rate in the Philippines according to statistics (which cannot be totally trusted) is from about 28-52%. I wrote something about this in my previous blog.

The poor is being given unemployment benefits for a limited period only:
'David Johnson, the chief of the Census Bureau's household economics division, estimated that unemployment benefits helped keep 1.7 million people out of poverty'

What we want to look at here is how we view life in this world.
Why do we accept and allow poverty in our world system where poor people get benefits from the government only if they  fill out documents that determines whether or not they are qualified ?

The fact that we are all birthed here in this one life make us qualified to receive our share of the resources the earth is giving all equally.
We have to forgive ourselves for accepting and allowing inequality in this world system.

We have to stand up and see that Life is here and nature gives its resources equally for all.
The fact is that everyone has a right to get a Basic/Living Income, Guaranteed from birth to death,, they do not have to apply or be qualified for it, the fact that one is alive makes one qualified to receive it, because it is ones human right to live, survive and get the basic necessities one need to survive.

We do not need short term benefits, we need a Basic/Living Income, Guaranteed from birth to death.

'This lack of improvement in poverty is disappointing and discouraging,' said John Iceland, a former Census Bureau chief of the poverty and health statistics branch who is now a Penn State sociology professor.'

We had been trying to provide solution to poverty for a long time? Why is poverty still here?

We miss the real problem.

We have to treat each other as equals and Not see the poor as people we can give alms to when we have money who will make us feel better about ourselves because we have what they do not have.

The solution is to nationalize resources and create dividends enough to pay a Basic/Living Income to the poor, the unemployed, the elderly and the uneducated

From the Basic/Living income guarantee Site:

So this whole idea that competition and market forces ‘will sort it out,’ the evidence is quite clear: it’s not going to happen. What needs to happen is a directive action politically by people to bring about economic change, nationalize the necessary resources, make the citizens the shareholders, pay them as shareholders a Basic Income out of the profit, motivate them to buy from the products and the resources that are being nationalized because they are supporting their own business and that’s how we create a solution for Basic Income.
Some of the benefits of a Basic Income Guaranteed through the way we propose would be that in essence it is a redistribution of money which allows an interesting thing to take place: more people having money to spend on the basic things that are required for a decent life, will cause actually some of the corporations to make more money. There’ll be more money in the money supply therefore there will be economic growth and consequently, employment will be created and so people will be able to step into better positions and the benefits of such a scenario would bring about a positive growth within the whole system.
