This Blog Is About
Giving -up on oneself, not wanting to investigate the food selection that is going to be supporting the body's survival, and giving- in to another's Idea of what the 'Best Diet' is
>This diet is the right one
>The expert who made this diet knows better than me
>I lost 17 lbs. when I am in this diet
>my problems disappeared
>this is the right diet
>I do not like other diets and I do not like to investigate this further
What's the fear?
Fear of not having enough information about food and nutrition - so, gives-up on oneself (not wanting to investigate the sugar content of food, nutritional information etc.) and gives-in to another's idea of what the best diet is, diminishing oneself in the process, when one can realistically investigate food and find out how the body responds to which food, or what size portion, and use health practitioners to cross-reference the data gathered and for self-support.
What is Self-forgiveness?
It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing self to separate from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as subjective interpretations of reality regarding something or someone that leads to stability as breath.
Writing Self-forgiveness Statements:
I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to fear not having enough information about food and nutrition - so give up on investigating food that will support my body, within laziness, believing that since someone said that this is the 'best diet', gives -in to this idea of what the best diet is, believing I just have to believe and apply what he/she said and I will be okay - and that If I loose weight and my health problems disappear, this is indeed 'the best diet' - where I am giving-up on myself and giving-in to information passed by others which i have given a higher value in my mind - where self-investigation becomes secondary or unnecessary. Through this, I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to judge one diet as better than others then compare and judge other diets as less than that- and so within this, manipulating oneself to believe that ones idea is true.
What's the Belief?
The food that will make me lose weight and make my health problems disappear is the 'best diet' for me -trusting the expert who originated it, believing he is knowledgeable on the subject.
I am not empowered within saying this statement. This statement is expressing how I see myself - as 'inferior'.
Instead of investigating the nutrition in the food i eat and the different relationships I formed with different food items, sweets etc., I adopted others definition of different food items etc. and called it 'my truth'. I am making a conclusion based on other's definition of food, diet etc. which I then pass on to others and which will later be part of our community belief system.
The problem with thinking this way is that I am manipulating myself to fit into a belief that I heard or read from others. So, as I think about what the 'expert' said with regards to this diet, and the information he/she is disseminating, I am defining myself as inferior and the so-called 'expert' as superior.
I am going to redefine and expand the words 'best', 'diet', and 'belief' at the end of this blog. I will be giving it a definition I can live - and will be doing an unbiased investigation where I take myself by the hand and unconditionally assist myself.
Here, I am questioning the following:
1. We have different DNA make-ups - so how can one diet be the 'best diet'?
2. If we have not investigated what's in the food we eat, how can we say they are good for us and claim they healed us from our health problems based on how we feel?
3. Why do we pay too much attention to 'tasty food' if food is meant to be nourishment for the body?
4. Why do we not ask for menus with the recommended daily allowance of food items written and us suggesting to the waiter, the meal we need that will best nourish our body when we are about to order?
5. How come we are not telling waiters in restaurants, 'this is the food items i need and this is how much of each food item I need - and instead we ask from a starting point of taste, 'What is the popular dessert in your restaurant? I would like to taste that one, let me have that please...
I commit myself to question the way we eat and our use of sugar
I commit myself to keep questioning our judgment of plants and animals (also humans, where one believes one is better than the other).
I commit myself to question the existence of food competitions that do not align to the definition of what food really is - a substance that nourish the body - and are designed to stuff food to the body needlessly.
Why am I expanding or redefining words?
Words are like microchips that has in it for example, thoughts, imaginations etc. that is an interpretation of reality in our mind. It is defined within what is best for us, as individuals, which is based on competition within survival of the fittest . So, in expanding or redefining a word our goal is to align its meaning to what the word is in physical reality - which is mutually beneficial for all of us, humans, plants, animals etc. as it is what the word is, realizing that we can forgive ourselves for the meaning we gave it and correct ourselves - giving it a meaning we can live and express ourselves as, in physical reality that aligns to what is best for all - as Living Words.
Best
(superlative of 'good') having the most positive qualities
Diet
A prescribed selection of foods
Belief
A vague idea in which some confidence is placed
My Expanded Definition:
Best
having the most positive qualities
-
Here, the positive qualities are given a value more than what it really is, and is judged according to that inflated value within ones mind's eyes, instead of seeing that positive quality from the starting point of us having equal value as humans, plants, animals etc. as we are all birthed here - and redefined to align to 'what is best for all life'.
Diet
A prescribed selection of foods
-
Here, the selected foods are prescribed by someone or a group seen as authority in the specific diet category where self-diminishment happens as one assigns a value that is less than life to oneself(and assigns a value that is more than life to the originator, the food selection, information or the group) and instead of directing oneself to select foods that will best assist the body coming from ones own unbiased investigation, one gets directed by other's (the originator of the diet and the group following it) definition of food selection which is seen from the mind's eyes - and not as what food is and not as what food selection is all about.
Belief
A vague idea in which some confidence is placed
-
Here, the idea is perceived, learned and understood using ones mind eyes therefore, vague. This is then trusted to a point where confidence is given to this idea which is being perceived as 'transcending of doubt' within ones mind, rather than seeing reality as what it is and trusting oneself as the breath here, able to take self-responsibility and express oneself.
